News Desk: UPDATED On 03 April 2020 Addl. PCCF and Chief Wildlife Warden of Assam Forest Department has issued and order station entry to the State Zoo cum Botanical Garden, Tiger Reserves, National Parks, Wildlife Sanctuary and Protected areas of Assam is prohibited with effect from 17th March 2020 to 29th March 2020, in order to prevent any accidental spread of COVID-19 virus. All permissions granted u/s 28 of WPA 1972 for film shooting, research, etc. shall also remain suspended till 29th March 2020.
The order was later extended until further orders.
